becoming a digital astronaut
First things first, happy new year everyone. Wishing you all health and happiness throughout 2026 and beyond.
Now that I've got that out of the way, I can share that I've updated the URL for this site to reflect some of the changes I've been toying with for a while, so say hello to the mattiverse site.
Why?! I vaguely hear from someone in the back...
I finally decided to commit to this site being more than a simple blog for me.
I wanted it to be a truly personal site built within BearBlog, as I didn't want to have bits and pieces all over the place (and my hope is that I will try and keep things as simple and lightweight as possible).
I've started adding more pages to this effect, from a thoughts page to a library page with more on the way.
This site has become my digital universe, which sounds ridiculous, but how cool is it that when you go to someone else's personal site, you're going to their universe? Travelling along a trail of stars, planets and galaxies as you get to know someone within their own universe.
Potentially helping to contribute to the legacy of their universe, or gain understanding that helps you build your own.
That to me is now the importance of this site, it's entire purpose is for me to build my own universe and perhaps in the process, inspire you to build yours.
Besides, being a digital astronaut sounds fucking cool to me.
