a comedian's courage
I went to see a comedy show last night with a couple of friends and it further highlighted the importance of courage within creativity.
The comedians were good, a couple weren't really my humour, but I could appreciate the balls it takes to get up on stage and try and make people laugh, particularly for those who aren't the headline act and may not be as recognisable.
You could visible see a couple of them relax as they got into their set and people were enjoying it but even if they got up there and the people didn't, which I'm guessing most comedians have had at some point in their careers, the guts and determination to keep going and get back up is admirable.
For all us creatives, I want you to keep in mind the importance of having courage both in your work and in the creating of your work. Keep going, keep pushing and don't let a few bad days stop you from creating.
