This seems like it's going to continue to build Victor up so he can start expanding his 'legend'. I admit, I have really been enjoying these books and how Victor is a battle-focused warrior. I do think there's been a bit of the overpowered nature from some of the previous series I've read creeping into this one - but hopefully that'll become less of an issue now we're moving to the next 'stage' of development.
So far though, I've enjoyed the series and have been flying through each of these books.
The urgency that comes within the fighting is definitely one of the biggest wins that this series has, I found myself very much getting into them and feeling that sense of urgency and feeling behind them.
This was another great ready and although it did feel like it may be heading towards a side-quest for the next book, Iβm willing to be open-minded about it.
