Welcome to the Mattiverse

torched the digital garden

In my last post, I spoke about how I wanted a place to post short-form thoughts and ideas and then touched on wanting a 'digital garden'.

A few hours after this, I realised I was being a raging fool.

I complained about the social side of social media, and how I wanted a place to post without the social expectations that come with it. It never occurred to me that this doesn't need to be public.

I already had a fantastic place for what I'm looking for on a site called MyMind1.

Best thing? It's not solely for notes, I can shove everything in there: articles, products, music, films...

It's a paid for product, but I agree with the mission statement and I'd be supporting smaller devs rather than the big social-mongers. It's also a win for me because it is entirely personal. I don't have to worry about likes, comments, follows or any other social-like behaviour.

The TLDR of this post is a simple one, I was a fool and I have a way of posting my random thoughts, ideas and other rubbish in a place that nobody will have the misfortune of stumbling on.

Isn't that swell?
